AAF-HAWAII MEMBERSHIP

-In the Spirit of the Seasons, AAF-Hawaii is offering Special Rates on our Memberships.
-Special Savings Offer!

It's that time again! What time you say?

Time to renew membership in your professional organization, AAF-Hawaii.

Renewals are supposed to happen on July 1 and it’s now December. What’s up with that? What’s up is that we’ve been busy!

In July we had Mark Carlson, Senior Creative Director from McDonalds. In August we had the TV Fall Preview Media Workshop and Luncheon with Marc Berman of MediaWeek.

Just prior we had David Jenkins of Nike’s “Just Do It” fame, and we started the year with the AAF Conference with over 200 attendees.

Upcoming we’ve got the annual AdMania at Dave and Busters (check your cellphones at the door this year) on December 3, then onto the new year with luncheons featuring more national headlining speakers and of course, the Pele’s in April.

With all that on tap, it’s time to JOIN. BELONG. CONNECT.

Time to support the advertising community that you work in.
Time to network.
Time to educate yourself for advancement.
Time to develop more resources and new business.

And you can do all of this by joining and belonging to AAF-Hawaii. It’s your link to the oldest and best professional advertising trade association in the world. At last count, 100 plus years and 40,000 members strong.

So what happening with the dues? With the economy in July being totally sucko, we decided to give last year’s members a breather. Well now the dues are due.

And since the economy is not that much better, we’ve devised two different ways for you to join and support AAF-Hawaii.

1 -- Join NOW, pay NOW and take up to 50% off corporate rate and over 40% off the individual rate.

2 -- Join after 12/15/09 and delay payment until January 30, 2010.

AAF-HAWAII LAUNCHES!

The refurbished, redesigned and reenergized AAF-Hawaii website will be launched on November 30. Short of world peace, this site will pretty much do it all: inform and educate, entertain and engage. There’s even schematics for a portable nuclear device. We’ve heard there are plans are for a hyperbole filter, so we are getting all our puffery out in this newsletter. A big mahalo goes out to 4 Front Branding for getting the new website launched in time for the new year!

Check it out.

"AdMANIA"
Presented by AAF-Hawaii

December 03rd 2009

Get your peeps together and form a team. Select some colors, a logo or even a mantra. You can even adopt a motto (In Vito Veritas seems apropos).

The ad clash happens Thursday, December 3 and the venerable and veritable Dave & Busters, with the bandanna dropping at 6:30 (but you can lube your mind with libations starting at 5:30).

It’s $20 for AAF members, Ad2 and students; $25 for the hoi polloi. There’s a 4-person minimum for teams, and a special rate of $150 for a team of 8. Start looking for your ringer, and we’ll see you there!

For more information call 532-0555.
